The original COPERS software was created in 1986 by the University of Wisconsin Extension on behalf of the Wisconsin Chief’s of Police Association (WCPA) and 13 charter agencies. The product benefited from the input of these agencies and was a good low cost solution for small market agencies.

Since then, the product has undergone several major upgrades so that the users can enjoy new features while protecting the valuable legacy data that dates back over 30 years for some! We are currently in the process of updating all of our modules to be web based so users can leverage advantages offered by modern web browsers.
